i wont register at codeplex, so i leave here comment with bug report.
when user appears online, squiggle show pop up near tray, and that pop up doesnt disappear, it also doest react at close red cross button.
thats all.
thnx4 nicelooking messenger, i using it with my 50pcs small office network, and it is good replace for borgchat and vypress chat.

Indeed I know about freecycle.org and they’re doing a great job. In fact I discovered freecycle.org recently and I was pleased to know that there are many people with the same vision. I believe freecycle group members will find it more convenient to use LetsDonateStuff since it provides a structured way of doing the same thing.

I’ve only found your websites/blogs a few hours ago – working to get Squiggle up and running across 2 networks. I like your passion and idea for the LetsDonateStuff, but you may not be aware of a nearly identical service that’s been up and running for years:
http://www.freecycle.org

Basically a centralized way to get onto a local yahoogroup DList with others in close proximity. The idea is building a community close to home. No need to ship stuff, etc, waste fuel, etc.

Yes it may or may not work on Windows XP since I don’t test on it anymore and I won’t be fixing issues for XP.

Do you experience the hang after downloading the latest revision that is 3.1.6 ?

Thanks for your reply. Does that mean it still runs under Windows XP but you (only) stop fixing future problems with it?

Another info for you: on my machine, it also hangs after resuming from standby. The previous version did not have such problems.

Hi Alex

Indeed I do not want to lose Windows XP users if there is a way to keep them but unfortunately I do not have time and resources to support Windows XP because it would require me to test Squiggle on all the supported operating systems before release. Also if someone reports a bug I have no way of verifying and fixing it.

As for the hang issue that you’re experiencing with the latest release, I’ll look into it asap and try to fix it.

I’m quite sure you have lots of XP users, especially in the business area. Do you really want to loose them?
I am using Windows 7, and the previous revision worked fine. But this one quite often hangs on startup and I have to kill and restart it. Maybe it’s because my network connection takes some time to become available after boot.
